Mr. Donnellyasked the Lord Privy Seal whether he will set up an interdepartmental committee to study the structure of the British Government's representation in Europe and in Commonwealth countries with particular reference to the European Economic Community in the next five and the next ten years.
§ Mr. P. ThomasOur representation in foreign and Commonwealth countries is continually under review and is from time to time adjusted to meet changing requirements. If the decision is taken to join the European Communities we shall of course give most careful con-192W sideration, well in advance of our entry, to the implications both for our representation abroad and for the organisation of inter-departmental work in London.
