§ Mr. MarplesOn 7th June, I advertised my proposal to prohibit the use of all remaining gaps in the central reservation in Woodford Avenue/Southend Road as far as the junction with Chigwell Road. I invited (representations and have received objections from five residents and six local firms. My traffic advisers are studying the representations carefully. I shall consider their report and the objections before I make my decision. I hope to do this next month. I do not think I need also meet a deputation: the views of the objectors are clear from their letters.
