§ Mr. NobleIn proceedings relating to motoring offences, the interval between the pleading diet and the trial is between eight and nine months where the accused is not in custody. As indicated in the Reply which I gave to the hon. Member for Hamilton (Mr. T. Fraser) on Tuesday, 24th July, it is proposed that two additional sheriffs substitute should be appointed at Glasgow.
