§ Mr. PeytonThe National Coal Board is developing a new smokeless briquette made by the fluidised carbonisation process which will be suitable for open fires and which it expects to be in commercial production by 1965. There is a considerable range of smokeless solid fuels available now at varying prices. These include gas cokes produced to British Standard specification and Phurnacite.
