§ 41. Mrs. Braddockasked the President of the Board of Trade what supervision he exercises over his Official Receivers in Bankruptcy; and whether he will make a full inquiry into the manner in which the Official Receiver in Bankruptcy for the Liverpool district has conducted his responsibilities, especially in the case of George Henry Wilkie, in Liverpool.
§ Mr. ErrollOfficial Receivers in Bankruptcy are responsible to me in respect of the duties which fall to them as officers of the Board of Trade. As to the second part of the Question I am fully satisfied with the manner in which the Official Receiver carried out his duties in the case in question and I see no occasion for inquiry.
