§ 45. Mr. Milneasked the President of the Board of Trade (1) how many new 80W jobs were created in the Blyth, Bedlington and Seaton Valley areas since November, 1960;
(2) how many new jobs he expects will be created in the Blyth, Bedlington and Seaton Valley areas in the next 18 months.
§ Mr. ErrollThe number of new jobs estimated to have been created as a result of industrial development certificates since 1st November, 1960, for the Employment Exchange Areas of Blyth, Bedlington and Seaton Delaval is about 265. Some of these have still to be filled. I am not prepared to estimate the number of further additional jobs likely to be created in the next eighteen months.
