asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies (1) what is the net annual cost to the United Kingdom of administering and defending Hong Kong, taking into account the Colony's contribution to the United Kingdom balance of payments on both visible and invisible accounts and the Hong Kong Government's annual payment to imperial defence and the Admiralty;

(2) what contribution the Colony of Hong Kong makes to the United King-
