asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food how many civil servants, established or permanent and temporary, respectively, were employed in departments of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food on 1st March, 1951, and 1st March, 1962, or the nearest available dates; and What was the total respectively of their salaries and wages as paid on those dates.

The number of non-industrial civil servants borne on the votes of the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries and the Ministry of Food at 1st April, 1951, and on the vote of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food on 1st April, 1962, and the cost of their salaries and wages, were as follows:

Trade Association and European Economic Community. As a member of the first two of these organisations Her Majesty's Government will join in considering what should be done about the Resolution.
