§ 71. Mr. Swinglerasked the Secretary of State for War on what date, and by what means, he is disposing of the storage depot at Madeley in the rural district of Newcastle-under-Lyme; and if he will take steps to ensure that the site will be used for the provision of light industry.
§ Mr. ProfumoNo date has been fixed for the disposal of this depot, but as soon as its use by the War Department is ended it will be disposed of in accordance with usual practice. The nature of the use to which this site may then be put will be determined by the planning authorities.
