§ Mr. GalbraithThere is at present no general shortage of doctors in Scotland. As my right hon. Friend the Minister of Health announced on 29th November, 1961, the prospective demand would justify an increase in the intake to the medical schools in Great Britain and the University Grants Committee has been asked to consider the implications with the universities.
