§ Mr. MaclayThe areas of the Forestry Commission's productive woodlands at that date were as follows:
Acres Scotland 593,500 England 503,500 Wales 247,200 The Government of Northern Ireland inform me that the comparable area there is 58,000 acres.
All these areas include plantations too young to be producing timber.
