asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what proposals or representations he has received from Inverness County Council and other persons regarding a timetabled, public ferry service between the Isle of Vatersay and Barra; and what was the nature of his replies.

There has been no change since the hon. Member was informed in September last that I had not then received any proposals in this matter.
