34. Mr. H. Wilsonasked the Minister of Labour if he will state how many workers formerly on the strength of Messrs. Petbow Ltd., Kirkby, Lancashire, were made redundant; how many have since found employment locally; and how many of these have found employment comparable in terms of skill and remuneration with the jobs they had lost.
§ Mr. GreenTwo hundred and four workers have so far become redundant. The great majority of these are believed to have found employment in the Liverpool area, generally in the trades or occupations in which they were experienced. I cannot give precise figures.
