§ 62. Mr. Gardnerasked the Secretary of State for Air what steps he is taking to ensure that the Fylingdales early warning station is completed without delay.
§ Mr. AmeryWe have reviewed the construction programme in conjunction with the main contractors and have taken certain measures to minimise the effect of delays through bad weather and labour difficulties. We expect the construction work to be completed in time for the station to begin operating next year as planned.
