§ Mr. GeorgeThe generating board estimates that the total capital charges for Sizewell will be about 0.45d. a unit. It would be unrealistic to attempt to break this down between capital amortisation and interest. The calculation is made on an annuity basis and the proportion of each item changes as the station gets older. The calculation includes a credit for plutonium of substantially less than 0.1d. a unit.
