HC Deb 26 February 1962 vol 654 c96W
37. Mr. George Craddock

asked the Minister of Health why his Department at the height of the smallpox outbreak in Bradford sent a circular to the Bradford Hospital Council which was a copy of a circular forwarded from the Ministry in 1950 in connection with the vaccination of hospital staffs, in view of the fact that this circular has been complied with since its issue.

Mr. Powell

This was a circular to all hospital authorities without distinction. It reminded them of their responsibilities and asked them to remedy shortcomings immediately.
