Mr. Pavitt

asked the Minister of Labour if Her Majesty's Government will be represented at the fourth session of the joint International Labour Organisation and United Nations World Health Organisation committee on occupational health, to be held in Geneva, from 9th to 16th April, 1962.

This is a Committee of Experts, half of whom are nominated by the I.L.O. and half by the W.H.O., and not a representative body. At its meeting in November, 1961, the 150th Session of the Governing Body of the I.L.O. approved the appointment by the I.L.O. of four experts, including one from the United Kingdom. This gentleman has now indicated that he will not, after all,
