Mr. Maginnis

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will now make a statement about the future of the special grant from Her Majesty's Government to Northern Ireland agriculture.

An Order under Section 32 of the Agriculture Act, 1957, will shortly be laid before Parliament renewing the grant for a period of five years from 1st April, 1962, at an annual amount not exceeding £1¼ million.
