§ Mr. Ellis Smithasked the Minister of Power if he will set out in tabular form the average price of pig iron, Cleveland haematite, north-east coast basic, billets soft basic, angles, rails, ship plates, tin-plate bars, prior to the formation of the trade associations and for the years 1932, 1937, 1938, 1945, 1960, and for the latest date, respectively, showing also the costs of raw materials and labour for the same years.
§ Mr. GeorgeThe information available is given in the following table. 1913 has been taken as the last normal year before the formation of the trade associations. It is difficult to provide exactly comparable figures over so long a period.
