§ 56. Mr. Danceasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food whether, in connection with Civil Defence, consideration has been given to the protection from nuclear fall-out of farm stock, and, in particular, of milking cows.
Mr. VaneYes. Advice on the protection of livestock, especially milking cows, against fall-out is given by Ministry officers on request. There is also a booklet "Home Defence and the Farmer" produced by the Agricultural 67W Departments, and the Ministry has recently made a film on the same subject.
