facilities for handling coal exports through each of the South Wales ports, and Cardiff in particular; and if the Rochdale Committee will investigate the adequacy and efficiency of existing appliances in these ports.

Mr. Marples

I understand that the British Transport Commission is satisfied that coaling appliances in the South Wales Ports are more than adequate to handle exports of coal at present and in the foreseeable future. The Rochdale Committee is, of course, free to report upon these, as upon any other facilities.
