asked the Civil Lord of the Admiralty what was the percentage of ratings re-engaging for pension during 1961; and in which branches the percentage was lowest.

Mr. C. Ian Orr-Ewing

Sixty-two per cent. at the 12 year point. The branches with the lowest rates are Radio Electrical Mechanician (Air) at 45 per cent., Engineering Mechanic, and Electrical Artificer (Air and General Service) at 48 per cent. and Radio Electrical Mechanician (General Service) at 50 per cent.
