HC Deb 21 February 1962 vol 654 cc55-6W
61. Mr. Awbery

asked the Minister of Transport if he is aware that three men were recently killed at a dangerous spot in Feeder Road, Bristol, where there are no traffic signals or other controls under the railway bridge, which has been the subject of lengthy negotiations between the parties jointly interested, the British Transport Commission and Bristol Corporation; and if he will take steps to accelerate the removal of this danger to both pedestrians and drivers.

Mr. Marples

This is a matter for the Bristol Corporation as highway authority. In 1960 I issued a grant to the corporation for the improvement of this bridge and intersection.
