asked the President of the Board of Trade what new industrial development he expects in West South Wales during the next year.

As my hon. Friend will be aware, part of the British Motor Corporations' large new project at Llanelly is already complete, and the second factory being built for it by the Board of Trade should be complete this year. The advance factory at Pembroke Dock which is under construction has now been let. There are a number of other industrial developments going forward in West South Wales, but I cannot of course say what new developments may take place this year.
