§ Mr. MarplesI hope to let contracts this summer for lengths of the London-Yorkshire motorway between Crick in Northamptonshire and Markfield in Leicestershire. Detailed progress will, however, depend upon the completion of the remaining statutory processes and engineering preparation. I cannot, therefore, be more specific at this stage about the sections to be undertaken. For the same reason, I cannot at present usefully indicate the timetable for any further lengths of this motorway.
