§ Mr. Iremongerasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will have inquiries made of the officers of students' carnival and charities committees of English universities with a view to introducing legislation to remove certain restrictions upon the public collection of donations to charity, which limit the contribution which students and others can at present make to the charities they support in successive annual carnivals.
