§ 108. Mr. W. Baxterasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what proposals he has for the full utilisation of the water resources of central Scotland.
§ Mr. MaclayThe primary task of the reconstituted Scottish Water Advisory Committee is to advise on the organisation of water supply and distribution best adapted to meet present and future needs in central Scotland. Furthermore a Working Party, which includes representatives of the local water authorities primarily concerned, has under consideration the provision of additional sources of water supply for central Scotland.
