§ Vice-Admiral Hughes HallettIn the United Kingdom 3,393 more persons were registered as unemployed in shipbuilding, ship repairing and marine engineering in January, 1962, than in January, 1961. For the Tyne, the figure is 211.
Output in the present year will be to a large extent governed by orders already booked, and I do not think much improvement this year is likely.
