§ Sir D. EcclesVacancies not permanently filled by qualified teachers number 35 in primary schools, 57 in secondary modern schools and 3 in grammar schools. All but 10 of these are filled by part-time, uncertificated, temporary and supply teachers of whom 63 are qualified teachers.
