§ Mr. D. Priceasked the Parliamentary Secretary for Science whether he will make a statement on the progress of negotiations for the establishment of a European Space Research Organisation; and when a final conclusion may be expected.
§ Mr. Denzil FreethThe negotiations are being conducted in the Preparatory Commission, whose functions were described in my Answer to a Question by the hon. Member for Barnsley (Mr. Mason) on 16th May, 1961. Satisfactory progress has been made and it is hoped that the work will be concluded within the next few months.
