§ 87. Mr. W. R. Williamsasked the Postmaster-General what steps he has taken since 30th January, 1962, to resolve the dispute with the Post Office Engineering Union which has led to working to rule.
§ Mr. BevinsOn 9th February I received from the union a letter which I am studying, and I shall be replying as soon as possible.
§ 88. Mr. Randallasked the Postmaster-General in how many telephone areas he has suspended one or more provisions of engineering instructions as a result of the working to rule.
§ Mr. BevinsI have suspended, or partly suspended, a very limited number of rules in six areas. The changes so far affect the work of just over 100 men, out of a total of 70,000.
