Irvineasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he will give an estimate of the approximate cost of extending the measure of relief from Income Tax allowed to widowers and widows who employ resident housekeepers, other than for the purpose of having the charge and care of children, to widowers and widows who employ non-resident housekeepers.
