§ Dame Irene Wardasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he has studied the letter from the National Council of Women, sent him by the hon. Member for Tynemouth, regarding the liability of women for jury service under the present law; and what reply he has made regarding his legislative intentions with particular reference to the possibility of enabling English women to enjoy the same rights in this respect as women enjoy in Scotland.
