§ Mr. Boxasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will take further financial measures to stimulate increased activity in the steel industry with a view to reducing the possibilities of takeover of individual companies at figures far below the net asset values of their ordinary shares.
§ Mr. du CannI expect that the fiscal changes and increased public investment which my right hon. Friend announced recently will have a beneficial effect on industry generally, including the steel industry.
