§ Sir S. McAddenasked the Minister of Transport whether tenders have yet been invited for the construction of M.1 from north of markfield, the Darlington bypass, the Penrith bypass, and the remainder of the Port Talbot bypass, respectively.
§ Mr. MarplesTenders for the construction of the M.1 motorway north of Markfield have not been invited; tenders for the construction of the Trent Bridge structures in advance of the road-works will be invited very shortly, Tenders for Darlington bypass were invited on the 12th December and those for the remainder of the Port Talbot bypass on the 13th November. The line of the Penrith bypass has not yet been fixed.
