§ Mr. J. Silvermanasked the President of the Board of Trade what further consideration he has given since 1st May to the recommendations of the Departmental Committee on Hallmarking; and when he proposes to introduce legislation to implement these recommendations.
§ Mr. ErrollAs I told the hon. Member last May, I accept that there should be new legislation, but I cannot yet say when it will be possible to introduce it.
