Mr. Wyatt

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he will make a statement on the categories of secret, con- fidential and restricted documents supplied to the Central Office of Information; and whether he will now review the supply of such documents.

As regards categories I would refer the hon. Member to the Answers given to the hon. Member for Rutland and Stamford (Mr. K. Lewis) on 17th and 20th December.

Documents are made available to the C.O.I. only to the extent necessary for the proper performance of its work.
