§ 17. Mr. Spriggsasked the President of the Board of Trade what applications his Department has received for assistance by industries wishing to start up in the St. Helens, Lancashire, area; and what assistance he is prepared to give to such firms, in view of rising unemployment in the district.
§ Mr. ErrollMy Department has not received any applications. I should be prepared to issue an industrial development certificate for any suitable project which a firm wished to locate in the district.
