§ Mr. Masonasked the Postmaster-General how many civil servants in his Department over the past 10 years, went within two years of retirement or resignation to other jobs and sought permission within the ruling of paragraph 5 of Command Paper No. 5517, specifying which subsection of that paragraph was involved and the firms involved in each case.
§ Mr. BevinsFive. The firms and organisations involved in four of the cases and the relevant subsection of paragraph 5 of Command Paper 5517 were respectively:

(a) Telecommunication Engineering and Manufacturing Association (e) The fifth case does not appear to have fallen under any of the subsections of paragraph 5 of the Command Paper. Approval was sought and granted purely as a matter of general propriety.
