§ 58. Sir N. Hulbertasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will state the revenue from Purchase Tax on motor cycles, scooters and mopeds for the year ended 5th April, 1962, and for the period 6th April to 1st September, 1962.
§ Mr. du CannThe revenue from Purchase Tax on motor cycles, scooters, mopeds and three-wheeler cars in the year ended 31st March, 1962, was about £5¾ million and in the six months ended 30th September, 1962, about £2¼ million.
