§ Mr. FisherProposals for immediate strengthening of the Police have been agreed and Her Majesty's Government will give financial assistance towards this. An advance of up to £9,800 will be made from the Civil Contingencies Fund and provision will be made in the Spring Supplementary Estimates to repay the Fund.
