asked the Minister of Public Building and Works what is the present estimated cost of the rebuilding of Downing Street and the old Treasury building.

Mr. Rippon

The reconstruction of Nos. 10, 11 and 12 Downing Street is now expected to cost at least £900,000 and the Treasury at least £1,325,000.
