§ 88. Mr. Wolrige-Gordonasked the President of the Board of Trade which industrial projects in the north-east of Scotland development district have been materially assisted by the Government under the Local Employment Act since its inception.
§ Mr. D. PriceUnder the Local Employment Act a total of nearly £290,000 has been offered for projects in development districts in the north-east of Scotland, estimated to give rise to about 400 additional jobs. I cannot give the names of the firms concerned, since the fact that assistance has been given is confidential.
