§ Mr. AmeryAs my predecessor stated on 14th November, 1960, Abbotsinch is the most convenient location for Glasgow's airport. Planning of the necessary development work is proceeding.
In the White Paper published in August, 1961, Glasgow was included among those airports which in the Government's view should become a local responsibility. I am still discussing with representatives of Scottish local authorities the implementation of the White Paper policy in Scotland.
