Mr. Warbeyasked the Lord Privy Seal on how many occasions since 1954 the Council of Western European Union has approved increases in the strengths of the West German Army and Air Force beyond the levels laid down in the Special Agreement annexed to the European Defence Community Treaty; on which dates approval was given; what was the percentage increase in each case and when, and in what form, these decision were made public.
