asked the Minister of Health which regional hospital boards provide beds for chronic incurables; how many such beds are available on average per 1,000 of the population; and how many are available per 1,000 of the population within the area of the South East Metropolitan Hospital Board.

All; there are 1.3 geriatric or chronic sick beds per thousand population in England and Wales and 1.4 per thousand in the South East Metropolitan Region.
