HC Deb 14 December 1962 vol 669 c121W
Commander Pursey

asked the Secretary of State for Air if he will state the approximate number of aircraftmen and equivalent ranks pensioned on the 1930 basic rate of 16s. per week; what increases have been added; and what is the present pension.

Mr. H. Fraser

I am sorry that because of the form in which our pension records are kept it is not possible, without a great deal of work, to state how many men were pensioned on the 1930 basic rate of 16s. per week.

As to the remainder of the Question, I would refer the hon. and gallant Gentleman to the reply given to him on 27th June by the then Minister of Defence.
