BoyleIn the twelve months ended 30th September last expenditure on major school building projects amounted to £3.6 million in Northumberland and Durham counties and to £1.6 million in the County Boroughs. These figures, which exclude land purchases, professional fees, furniture and equipment, represent 5.8 per cent. and 2.6 per cent., respectively, of the comparable totals for England and Wales.
