HC Deb 11 December 1962 vol 669 c31W
Mr. Dugdale

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies what consultations he had with the Governor of Fiji before legislation was passed forbidding any person expelled from a trade union by the Registrar of Industrial Associations to hold office in that or any other union for a period of five years.

Mr. Sandys

None, in this particular instance, but I am in touch with the Governor over the revision of Fiji trade union legislation as a whole.
