asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies what progress is being made in regard to the siting and building of the new capital for British Honduras.

Mr. Fisher

A team of consultants, comprising civil engineers, town planners and architects, and electrical and mechanical engineers, has been appointed to draw up plans for building a new capital at a site about 51 miles west of Belize on the Western Highway. They started work in September.
